Michael focused on business throughout high school and college, and then worked for a friend of his fathers’ chemical repackaging company. In 1986 he founded AdChem, which went through several mergers and acquisitions and took on more and more responsibilities. Finally, in 2005 ACMT as we know it was founded, and the company then expanded into manufacturing.
One of Michael’s driving passions is developing a workforce. He noticed early on in his career that there was going to be a significant portion of the population that specialized in skilled labor, that was very much on the verge of retirement. He sought to collaborate with schools and local organizations to help train a new generation of talent.
Michael continues that same commitment to the future, sitting on numerous boards in the state of Connecticut, including many manufacturing advisory roles with local colleges.
